Children & Young People with no-one to turn to Inquiry

When the Commission was established, the NSW Government announced that the Commission would examine ‘the best means of assisting children who have no-one to turn to’. This commitment was made in the light of growing community concern about vulnerable children and young people in NSW and in Australia as a whole.

ATC - Kids talk about getting help

In a joint initiative, the Commission and Kids Help Line interviewed 195 children and young people to find out whom they approach for support when they have problems, and the factors that encourage or deter them from seeking help.
