The Commission will deal fairly and efficiently with complaints about its services and the conduct of its staff. We are committed to successfully resolving all of these kinds of complaints.
We do not have the power to deal with complaints about other services. The Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998 also prevents us from dealing directly with the complaints or concerns of individual children.
However, we can provide children, their families, friends and advocates with information about different groups that can help.
If you have a concern about the Commission’s services or staff you can:
- submit an online complaint about the service you have received from the Commission
- find answers to frequently asked questions about making a complaint
- read our Guarantee of Service
- read our Code of Conduct and Ethics
- find out more about your right to information and new ways to access NSW government information on the Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) website at www.oic.nsw.gov.au.
- phone 02 9286 7276 and ask for the Director, Business Systems and Services.
