Review the launch
On Tuesday 11 October, 2011, the Commission launched its Children, Young People and the Built Environment Seminar Series and Child-Friendly Planning & Design Award in Sydney.
Speakers
- Professor Sue Holliday, Faculty of Built Environment, University of NSW, was a guest speaker at the launch.
- Lou-Anne Lind, gave a presentation on children and young people in NSW on behalf of the Commission, The Commission, kids, and the built environment.
Stakeholders
Key stakeholders from a range of NSW Government agencies, industry association and academia attended the launch, sharing their views on the content, design and promotion of the seminar series and the award for child-friendly planning and design scheduled to occur in 2012. The expertise of stakeholders was critical to ensuring that the Commission’s seminar series and industry award meet the needs of built environment professionals, social policy makers and the tertiary sector in NSW.
