Comment
A substantially lower proportion of the potential Year 12 population living in low socioeconomic areas obtain a Year 12 Higher School Certificate (in 2007: 78% of students living in high socioeconomic areas compared with 63% living in low socioeconomic areas). Between 2004 and 2007, the difference between the proportion of children living in low and high socioeconomic areas that obtain a Year 12 Higher School Certificate, has shown little change.
