To celebrate NSW Children’s Week (22-30 October), kids were invited to participate in a survey and go into the draw to win one of ten iPod Shuffles. The competition closed on Friday 2 September, 2011.
The NSW Commission for Children and Young People is an independent organisation in government that listens to and speaks up for the children and young people of NSW. The survey results can be seen below.
The winners of the ten iPod Shuffles were drawn at random. The ten winners have been notified by the Commission.
Also for Children’s Week, the Commission invited kids to design a vibrant and original poster that promotes the Commission as “a voice for kids”. Go to www.kids.nsw.gov.au/kidzone, www.facebook.com/kidsnsw or www.nswchildrensweek.org.au to see the winning poster.
Children’s Week celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood. It’s not too late to get involved - visit www.nswchildrensweek.org.au to discover what’s on, find activity ideas and learn about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
