On Tuesday 11 August, the Commissioner presented the keynote address to the NSW State Student Representative Council (SRC) Conference.

Student from public high schools all over NSW attended the conference to learn more about the theme Support, Respect, Connect.

Participants at the conference shared their ideas for what the theme means to them.

Respect

• Mutual
• Loyalty 
• Tolerance of difference including cultural and religious

• Sharing and caring 
• You get respect by what you do.

Connect

Connect is about everyone having a place in a bigger picture. It’s like a puzzle where each piece makes the final picture but they have to be connected.
