A prohibited person cannot apply for, undertake or remain in child-related employment.
Where to apply for a review of prohibited status
An application for a review of prohibited status can be made to the following organisations:
- NSW Commission for Children and Young People
- Industrial Relations Commission
- Administrative Decisions Tribunal.
The Industrial Relations Commission can consider an application only if the applicant is already in employment and liable to be dismissed or has been dismissed because they are a prohibited person.
